Pick what crosses. Nothing is selected when Browse opens; click, ⌘-click and ⇧-click the way Finder does, and Start crossing covers exactly what you picked.
Select… menu: everything, nothing, only the newest month, or newer than a date you name.
Month headers carry a checkbox and a menu — this month only, this month and newer, this month and older.
Filter by where a file came from: camera, screenshots, WhatsApp, downloads.
An optional Source column in list view.
Fixed: a tile in a part-filled row could answer a click meant for the empty square above it.
Fixed: releasing ⌘ before the click landed collapsed the selection to one item.

First build. Plug in an Android phone over USB, see what is not yet on your Mac by month, and cross it over.
Every file is copied, then checked with SHA-256 before it counts as landed.
Unplug mid-crossing and you lose at most the file in flight; plug back in and it continues.
An import log per phone, so a second crossing only shows what is new.
Free space: deletes from the phone only files it has verified on your Mac, and only when you ask.
Folder layout by year and month, by year, or flat, to a folder or an external drive.
